2 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga Desert
In this 2-day, 1-night tour, you will visit many fabulous places in a short time.
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Midelt – Ziz River – Merzouga Desert
We will leave Fes to visit Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the Cedars Forest. After a stop in Midelt for lunch, we will drive along the amazing Ziz River. In the afternoon, we will reach the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Here, you will ride camels and spend the night in a desert camp in the middle of the desert. You will also enjoy a magical sunset and sunrise in the Sahara.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the Todra Gorges, a grand canyon carved out by the Todra River, ideal for rock climbers. We will then visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Finally, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, ending the tour in Marrakech.
