After breakfast, you will meet your native medina guide, who will come to pick you up for a tour of Morocco’s oldest city. Walking through its tens of thousands of streets and lanes! Please wear comfortable walking shoes and stay with the tour leader. Our tours travel begins with a visit to the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish district, and the first Mellah erected in Morocco in the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all cultural and historical places, such as the famed Al Qaraouine University, Africa’s oldest, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we’ll go to the tile cooperative, where we’ll have a great perspective of the entire Medina of Fez. Tonight’s lodging and meal will be in a nearby Riad.
